This basket stretcher Shell is designed to retrieve and transport patients in technical rescue environments, in mines, at altitude and in water. It is particularly suited to protect patients from side impacts as its single shell body makes the stretcher safe and easy to handle. The shell itself is in high-density polyethylene supported by a permanently attached aluminium frame to consolidate its strength. The bottom structure has been conceived to reduce friction during dragging operations. The perimetral frame provides rigidity and facilitate a firm grip on the 12 handles, part of the mould themselves.
